Brackley Town have confirmed the signing of Solihull Moors defender Connor Franklin.

The 29-year-old made the decision to leave the Moors due to a change in personal circumstances and joins the National League North club after two seasons at Damson Park, where Franklin amassed 74 appearances for the Moors after joining the club from Nuneaton Town.

Franklin was a key player in the Moors’ biggest seasons, having helped the club gain promotion to the National League in his first season, and then helped the club maintain their National League status in his second.

The full-back becomes the latest Solihull Moors player to move to the Saints, with Gareth Dean, James Armson and Adam Walker all having joined Kevin Wilkin’s side last summer.
