Former Solihull Moors defender Curtis Obeng has announced his retirement from football.
The full-back took to his Twitter yesterday to make a short statement regarding his retirement.
‘Calling it a day with football. Explored all my avenues. Thanks to everyone involved in my journey along the way.’
Obeng had a short stint with the Moors during last season and was Liam McDonald’s first signing after taking over as manager last November.
The 28-year-old made seven appearances in all competitions before leaving the club in January.
The former Wrexham, Manchester City and Swansea man had yet to find a new club after his Moors departure and has now made the decision to finish with football.
