Solihull Moors full-back James Bowen is set to rejoin Hereford on loan until the end of the season.

The left-sided defender, 21, joined the Moors from the Southern Premier Division side in October under former manager Richard Money, and has appeared 10 times for Solihull so far.

However, since the arrival of fellow left-back Jamie Reckord, who was brought in by current boss Mark Yates in early December, Bowen has found game time limited and has appeared only once in Solihull Moors’ last nine fixtures, with that solitary appearance coming from the bench.

The former Cheltenham Town youngster will now be allowed to rejoin his former club, Hereford, in a loan deal that will last until the end of the current campaign.

The deal is currently subject to paperwork, and it is unlikely that the deal for Bowen will be completed until after the Bulls’ league fixture against Farnborough on Saturday.
