Solihull Moors have confirmed the signing of striker Adi Yussuf on an 18-month contract.
The 25-year-old forward joins the Moors after departing National League rivals, Barrow, on Monday.
Yussuf began his career as part of Leicester City’s academy, before departing for Burton Albion on a permanent basis in the summer of 2011.
After two years with the Brewers, the striker made the move to Lincoln City, before once again moving clubs, joining the Moors’ former National League North rivals Oxford City. This proved to quite a prolific spell for Yussuf, as he scored 29 goals in 42 appearances for the City.
His form at Marsh Lane earned him a move back up the league ladder, as he joined League Two Mansfield Town.
18 months and a loan spell at Crawley Town later, former Solihull boss Marcus Bignot signed up Yussuf for Grimsby Town, where he spent six months before joining Barrow in last summer.
The Tanzanian-born forward had made 21 league appearances for the Bluebirds this season, scoring six goals.
Yussuf is now the latest new face to join Solihull Moors and is eligible for Saturday’s National League fixture away at Dagenham & Redbridge, as the Moors look to pick up another three points towards getting themselves out of the relegation zone.
