Solihull Moors Ladies take on the Steel City Wanderers in FA Women’s Midlands Division One action on Sunday, as they look to bounce back with a win, after losing 5-2 against Sheffield United Ladies in their last fixture, two weeks ago.

The Moors Ladies currently sit in 6th place in the 12-team league, and could go as high as 4th with a win on Sunday, providing other results go their way.

Solihull Moors Ladies have so far won seven matches from 14 in this campaign, having drawn just one game and lost six.

They take on a Steel City side who have won their last two league games, but currently sit two places below the Moors, occupying 8th place in the league.

The two sides have faced each other once before this season, with the Steel City Wanderers coming out on top, in what was a 3-1 win. Amelia Kirk bagged the solitary goal for Solihull Moors Ladies on that day.

Moors Ladies manager Sarah Westwood will be hoping that her side can get their revenge and bag the three points on Sunday.

The fixture takes place at Solihull Moors Ladies’ Tally Ho ground, with a kick-off time of 2pm. The Ladies would certainly value your support for the fixture.
