Solihull Moors midfielder Chris Lait has joined Northern Premier Division side Stourbridge on an initial 28-day loan deal.

The 24-year-old joined the Moors last summer from the Glassboys, but has yet been unable to appear for the club due to a knee injury that has resulted in him missing the entirety of the campaign so far.

He will now make his return to the War Memorial Athletic Ground, where he previously made 98 appearances and scored 22 goals, and will hope to build match fitness ahead of the latter stages of this season.

The midfielder joins Moors forward Luke Benbow, who is also currently on loan with Stourbridge, although Benbow’s loan is until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Solihull Moors have now confirmed that full-back James Bowen is set to rejoin Hereford on loan until the end of the season.

Bowen has found game time limited recently and has appeared only once in the Moors’ last nine fixtures, with that solitary appearance coming from the bench.

The former Cheltenham Town youngster will now be allowed to rejoin his former club, Hereford, in a loan deal that will last until the end of the current campaign.

The deal is currently subject to paperwork, and it is unlikely that the deal for Bowen will be completed until after the Bulls’ Southern Premier Division fixture against Farnborough on Saturday.
