Solihull Moors have confirmed the departure of midfielder Simeon Maye to Rushall Olympic on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 23-year-old joins up with former Moors boss Liam McDonald at Dales Lane, with Rushall becoming the fourth club he has played for under McDonald.

Maye joined Solihull Moors in December of 2016 from Northern Premier Division side Hednesford Town, and has been a popular figure at the club ever since, putting in a number of strong performances since making the step up to the National League.

The midfielder has appeared 24 times for the Moors, in which he has scored three times, but has, however, struggled with injury so far in this campaign, only having made three appearances, with just one being a start.

With Maye in the process of coming back from his latest injury setback, Solihull boss Mark Yates has made the decision to allow the former Redditch United man to join the Pics on a temporary basis, with the hope that he can build the match fitness to make a return to the Moors fold before the end of the season.
