Solihull Moors Ladies kicked-off their new FA Women’s Premier League Midlands Division One campaign with an impressive 4-2 win away at Sheffield United Ladies.

Lois Jeffries opened her account for the season, scoring twice in the first-half, as the Moors Ladies went into half-time level with the score at 2-2.

Sarah Westwood’s side took control in the second-half, scoring a further two goals to win the three points on the opening day. Lois Jeffries completed her hattrick in the second period, with Abbie Taylor scoring the other goal for the Moors.

Next up for Solihull Moors Ladies is a league clash against Radcliffe Olympic Ladies in the Moors’ first home fixture of the season, at their new home of the Tally Ho Training Centre.

The fixture takes place next Sunday (27/08), with a kick-off time of 2pm.
