Solihull Moors Football Club are looking to expand our voluntary matchday team, as we begin our second season in the Vanarama National League. With increasing crowds at our home matches, we aspire to deliver an excellent experience to our supporters whilst they attend matches at The Automated Technology Group Stadium.


Car Park Attendant – role and responsibilities
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help run a busy car park on match days. Matches are usually 7:45 pm Tuesday evenings and 3 pm on Saturday afternoons – you would be required to be available two hours prior to kick-off times

Role specification:
Meet and greet supporters when they enter the stadium in their vehicles
Assist in the receipt of match day parking fees
Assist directing cars around the car park to available spaces
Assist with the parking of cars within the stadium
Direct supporters around the ground and to the correct turnstiles



Matchday liaison – role and responsibilities
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help promote our club to home and away supporters on match days. Matches are usually 7:45 pm Tuesday evenings and 3 pm on Saturday afternoons – you would be required to be available two hours prior to kick-off times. As you will be representing the football club, you are required to be helpful and engaging to visiting supporters as well as being well presented and behaving in a professional manner.

Role specification:
Assist spectators inside and outside the ground with directions, queries and advice
Support the matchday operations team where required
Engage with spectators to let them know what is happening in and around the ground
Assist in the promotion of our matchday 50/50 game and predictor game
Support any disabled spectators coming into and out of the ground
Assist in reception when required



Merchandise sales – role and responsibilities
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help sell our matchday merchandise, ranging from programmes to replica playing kit and replica training wear. Matches are usually 7:45 pm Tuesday evenings and 3 pm on Saturday afternoons – you would be required to be available one hours prior to kick-off times. As you will be representing the football club, you are required to be helpful and engaging to visiting supporters as well as being well presented and behaving in a professional manner.

Role specification:
Sell matchday programmes around the stadium and turnstiles to home and away supporters
Communicate with matchday operations team
Assist in the promotion of our matchday 50/50 game and predictor game
Assist with supporter queries
Assist where necessary, merchandise sales in the club shop



Turnstile Operator – role and responsibilities
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help operate our busy turnstiles on match days. Matches are usually 7:45 pm Tuesday evenings and 3 pm on Saturday afternoons – you would be required to be available two hours prior to kick-off times. As you will be representing the football club, you are required to be helpful and engaging to visiting supporters as well as being well presented and behaving in a professional manner.
Role specification:
Meet and greet supporters when they enter the turnstiles
Sell matchday tickets to visiting supporters
Communicate with matchday operations team
Assist with supporter queries


In all these roles you will be representing the football club, and will be required to be helpful and engaging to visiting supporters as well as being well presented and behaving in a professional manner.


Person specification:
Personable and outgoing nature
Excellent timekeeping skills as necessary
Professional manner
Presentable
Must be aged 18 to apply
