AFC Telford United have completed the signing of Sheridan Martinez, confirming the goalkeeper’s departure from Solihull Moors.

The move marks the end of Martinez’s third spell with the Moors, having originally been with the club for two seasons between 2011 and 2013, before returning in 2015 to be part of Solihull’s double-winning season, which saw the club win the National League North and the Birmingham Senior Cup.

The 25-year-old began the 2017/18 season with Telford, before moving back to the Moors in December 2017 and made two appearances for Mark Yates’ side, which were the goalkeeper’s first two league appearances for the club.

Martinez now departs the club for a third time, where he joins up with former Moors player/coach Gavin Cowan at Telford and also reunites with former goalkeeping coach Darren Acton, who left his role with Solihull Moors at the end of May.
