Solihull Moors Ladies maintained their winning start to their FA Women’s Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win over Sporting Khalsa Women.

Lois Jeffries continued her fine scoring streak, giving the Moors Ladies a 13th minute lead with her fifth goal of the season, scored in her fourth appearance of the campaign.

Moors Ladies continued to put the pressure on their opponents and this pressure was rewarded, as substitute Melissa Pugh bagged a goal in her first appearance of the season, extending the Moors’ lead in the 61st minute, just one minute after she appeared from the bench.

The game finished 2-0 to the Moors, with the Ladies making it three wins from three in the FAWPL Midlands Division One this season, meaning they sit in second place.

Solihull Moors Ladies’ next fixture sees them take on Leicester City Ladies on Sunday the 17th of September (kick-off 2pm) at their home ground of the Tally Ho Training Centre.
