Solihull Moors have seen another fixture added to their pre-season schedule, with Championship side Stoke City announcing that their Under-23s side will take on the Moors in a friendly.
The fixture will take place on Saturday the 21st of July (12pm kick-off) and will take place at the Potters’ Clayton Wood training ground. Fans are not permitted to attend the friendly and it will take place behind closed doors.
The Moors faced Stoke City’s Under-23s in a pre-season friendly last summer, with Solihull running out 4-0 winners that evening, although the Potters’ development side may prove a sterner test this time around, with the Under-23s having improved and will this season take part in the Checkrade Trophy, competing against various Football League sides from League’s One and Two.
