Referee Peter Wright has been appointed to officiate Saturday’s National League fixture away at North Ferriby United (3.00pm kick-off).

Wright has been refereeing in the National League since the beginning of this season and has also operated as an assistant referee and a fourth official in the Football League.

He has officiated 10 National League matches this season, producing a total of 32 yellow cards and one red card so far.

Peter Wright is a familiar referee to the Moors and the Villagers having refereed fixtures for both sides this season and also previous seasons in the National League North. He has taken charge of one fixture involving Solihull Moors this season, this was the memorable 3-0 away win over Chester on New Year’s Day.

Wright has officiated two fixtures involving North Ferriby this season, a 2-0 home league defeat to Maidstone United in September, and 4-1 home defeat to Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup in October.

The referee’s assistants for the fixture will be Hristo Karaivanov and Richard Woodward with David Hunt operating as the fourth official.
