Moors duo included in NLP’s Team of the Day:
Solihull Moors duo Nathan Baxter and Regan Charles-Cook have been included in the Non-League Paper’s National League Team of the Day after Saturday’s win at home to Sutton United.

Rodgers appears in Reds defeat:
Striker Luke Rodgers appeared for Southern League Premier Division side Redditch United on Saturday in their 2-1 away defeat to Hayes & Yeading United. It appears that that Rodgers’ time at the club is over.

Debutants Do The Business As Moors Thrash Sutton:
The Vital Match Report as Solihull Moors beat FA Cup Giant-Killers Sutton United by three goals to nil in the National League.

McDonald: ‘We thoroughly deserved the win’:
Solihull Moors manager Liam McDonald spoke of his delight over his side’s performance in their 3-0 home win over Sutton United.

Moors Defeated In Woking:

Solihull Moors midfielder Charlie Morris scored his first goal for Redditch United on Saturday, in their 2-1 defeat at home to Cambridge City. The goal has come in Morris’ fifth appearance since moving on loan to the Reds in January. A match report from the game can be found here.

Solihull Moors youngster Romario Martin made his international debut for Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Under-20s on Saturday in their 5-1 defeat to Haiti in the opening game of the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20s Championship. Martin came on as a substitute in the 55th minute. Details from the match can be here.

Goalkeeper Nathan Vaughan joined Midlands League Division One side Bromsgrove Sporting on Friday ahead of the weekend’s FA Vase Quarter-Final against Buckland Athletic. Vaughan was one of the heroes as the Rouslers won 2-0 to reach the semi-final. The 35-year-old saved a first-half spot-kick from Buckland’s Lloyd Gardner.

The away win at Bromley wasn’t the only win for Solihull this weekend, as the Moors Academy saw off Shipston Excelsior by five goals to nil in their Midlands Football League Division Three clash. Kyle Mullally scored twice, while Liam Taylor, Josh Parsons and Tyrese Shade also scored in the rout. A match report from the game can be found here.
