Solihull Moors take on Burton Albion in a pre-season friendly at home this evening.

The match takes place at the Automated Technology Group Stadium, with a kick-off time of 7.30pm.

Tickets for the game against the Championship side are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for Under-18s.

The Moors have been in good form in pre-season, having won all three friendly fixtures so far. Firstly beating Barwell 2-0, and then just a day later, the Moors defeated Highgate United by 4 goals to 2, before winning 3-2 at home to Walsall on Saturday, thanks to goals from new signing Jermaine Hylton (2) and Joel Kettle.

Shepherd Murombedzi will miss out against the Brewers tonight due to an ankle injury sustained in training a couple of weeks ago, and is likely to missing for another two weeks with the injury. Ashley Sammons will also miss out after a recent knock picked up in training.

Calum Flanagan and Chris Lait are will both miss out once again through injuries sustained towards the end of the last campaign, which have delayed the start of their pre-season.

George Carline could be involved after being withdrawn from Saturday’s game against Walsall through injury, but he does remains a doubt for tonight’s game. Paul Green is also a doubt due to a hamstring problem.

Today may also see more trialists given an opportunity to impress Moors boss Liam McDonald. Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, Tristian Dunkley or Will Mellors-Blair were all involved in last week’s friendlies and may also be involved in this week’s fixtures. While an unknown trialist, who made a substitute appearance against Walsall, could possibly have another opportunity to impress tonight.
