Paul Green has left Solihull Moors to re-join Tamworth as a player-coach.

Green joined the Moors last summer from the Lambs under then-boss Liam McDonald and made 26 appearances for the club in all competitions.

The 31-year-old was a regular for the Moors in the first-half of the season, operating in both the centre of defence and midfield.

However, after Mark Yates signed midfielder Kyle Storer from Cheltenham Town in January, Green soon found first-team opportunities harder to come by, although the former Lincoln City man still proved to be a reliable squad player in the latter portion of the season.

Green now re-joins Tamworth, who were last season relegated from the National League North to the Southern League Premier Central, and will take up a role as a player/coach under head coach Mike Fowler.
