Solihull Moors take on Walsall in a pre-season friendly at home this afternoon.

The match takes place at the Automated Technology Group Stadium, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Tickets for the game against the League One side are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for Under-18s.

The Moors have made a strong start to pre-season, having won their opening two friendly fixtures. Firstly beating Barwell 2-0, thanks to goals from Tyrese Shade and trialist Will Mellors-Blair, and then just a day later, the Moors defeated Highgate United by 4 goals to 2, with George Carline, trialist Tristian Dunkley and Shade (2) all on the scoresheet.

Calum Flanagan, Shepherd Murombedzi and Chris Lait are all likely to miss out once again today through injury. Although Ashley Sammons may return after missing this week’s friendlies due to a knock picked up in training last week.

Jermaine Hylton is also likely to be involved today after finally signing with the Moors on Thursday, having impressed as a trialist against both Barwell and Highgate.

Today may also see more trialists given an opportunity to impress Liam McDonald. Koby Arthur is unlikely to feature against the Saddlers after finishing his trial with Solihull Moors this week. It is unknown whether Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, Tristian Dunkley or Will Mellors-Blair will be involved today after they also trialled in this week’s friendlies.
