Solihull Moors take on Stoke City’s Under-23s in a pre-season friendly at home tonight.

The match takes place at the Automated Technology Group Stadium, with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.

Tickets for the game against the Potters’ development side are priced at £10 for adults and concessions and £5 for Under-18s.

The Moors have had a solid pre-season so far, with three wins, one draw and a loss, although they haven’t won in their last two friendlies, losing to Burton Albion last Tuesday, before drawing with Tamworth at the Lamb on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Connal Trueman and defender Dan Cleary are both in contention for tonight’s game after joining the club on loan from Birmingham City earlier today.

Shepherd Murombedzi will miss out against Stoke this evening due to an ankle injury. Calum Flanagan and Chris Lait are also both likely to miss out once again through injuries sustained towards the end of the last campaign, which have delayed the start of their pre-season.

Ashley Sammons could return after missing out on all the pre-season games so far due to a knock picked up in training a few weeks ago.

George Carline, Simeon Maye and Kristian Green could all return after missing out on Saturday.

Tonight may also see more trialists given an opportunity to impress Moors boss Liam McDonald. Former Stoke City left-back Joel Taylor may be given an opportunity to impress against his former club, after starting against Tamworth at the weekend. While fellow trialists Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, Tristian Dunkley or Will Mellors-Blair are all likely to be involved once again.
