Defenders Kristian Green and Joel Kettle have both signed new deals with Solihull Moors that will keep the duo at Damson Park for the 2017/18 season.

The pair, both 26, joined Liam McDonald’s side part way through last season from Step 3, with Green making 19 appearances since joining from Stourbridge in January and Kettle making 23 appearances since joining from Rushall Olympic in December.

Both players have impressed since making the step up to the National League and have now been signed up for the Moors’ second season at the top tier of non-league football.

Solihull Moors have also confirmed that they have exercised the option to extend George Carline’s contract by another season.

Carline is another player who made the jump from step 3, joining Solihull from Liam McDonald’s former club Hednesford Town. The 24-year-old made 25 appearances last season, scoring 4 goals.

Midfielder Shepherd Murombedzi has been offered a new deal by the club with the former Reading man’s Moors’ contract now expired.
