Daly named in NLP’s Team of the Day:
Solihull Moors’ Liam Daly has been included in the Non-League Paper’s National League Team of the Day after Saturday’s 0-0 draw away at Dover Athletic.

McDonald delighted by Dover performance:
Solihull Moors manager Liam McDonald expressed his delight at his side’s performance against Dover Athletic last Saturday.

Solihull Moors announce the #BigCelebration:
Solihull Moors have announced that the National League fixture at home to Barrow on Saturday 25 March at the Automated Technology Group Stadium will mark the ‘Big Celebration’ – an event being driven by the club’s thriving community department.

Moors hope to have key man fit for Braintree:
Solihull Moors hoped to have Liam Daly fit for Saturday’s game at home to Braintree Town, boss Liam McDonald discussed the fixture in his weekly column.

Solihull move was a no-brainer for Sammons:
Midfielder Ashley Sammons has admitted making the move from Hednesford Town to Solihull Moors was a no-brainer and is thrilled to have the chance to play for his hometown club under manager Liam McDonald.

OTHER MOORS NEWS:

Solihull Moors winger Pearson Mwanyongo played 68 minutes of Barwell’s 5-0 win over Skelmersdale United on Saturday. The Canaries now sit in 11th place in the Northern Premier Division. A match report from the game can be found here.

Solihull Moors midfielder Charlie Morris started his sixth consecutive match for Redditch United, as the Red’s were defeated 1-0 by St. Neots Town in the Southern Premier Division. The midfielder played 75 minutes of the match before being replaced by Max Loveridge. Morris has now made eight appearances since moving on loan to Darren Byfield’s side in January. Defender Nathaniel Kelly started two games this week for Sutton Coldfield Town. The 21-year-old started at centre-back for both the Royals’ 0-0 draw against Stafford Rangers and the 5-1 defeat against Corby Town. Sutton Coldfield sit in 22nd place in the Northern Premier Division, five points adrift of safety.

It was a fantastic weekend for the Moors Academy boys, as they cruised to a comprehensive 8-1 victory over Castle Vale Town at the Moors’ home ground of the Beehive. The win sees the youngsters rise to 4th in the Midlands Football League Division Three.
