Former Solihull Moors loanee Fiacre Kelleher has signed for League Two side Macclesfield Town on a season-long loan deal.

The 22-year-old defender reunites with former Moors boss Mark Yates at the Silkmen, joining the newly-promoted League Two side from Oxford United.

Kelleher spent the entirety of last season on loan with Solihull Moors, appearing 42 times, scoring twice.

The Irishman impressed over the course of the season, forming a strong partnership with Liam Daly over the second-half of the campaign. With the duo forming part of a defence that kept eight clean sheets after the turn of the year, only conceding 16 goals.

This form was enough to convince Yates, who left the Moors to take over Macclesfield Town earlier this month, to bring the former Celtic centre-half to Moss Rose.
