Solihull Moors have confirmed that defender Joel Kettle and forward Luke Benbow have had their loan deals extended with Tamworth and Stourbridge, respectively.

Kettle joined Tamworth on loan at the end of December, and has made five appearances for the National League North outfit so far.

His initial month-long spell came to an end after Tamworth’s 1-1 draw with Brackley Town last weekend, but it has now been confirmed that the 26-year-old defender will remain at the Lamb for another month.

Striker Luke Benbow has been on loan with Stourbridge since the beginning of November, and has so far appeared 13 times for the Glassboys, scoring five goals.

The 26-year-old forward originally made the temporary switch to the Northern Premier Division side to build up match fitness, after injury problems had restricted him to only four appearances for Solihull Moors so far this season. But on expiry of his original one-month loan deal, Benbow saw his loan extended until the end of January.

However, now, with the increased competition for forward places at the Moors, boss Mark Yates has now allowed Benbow to remain with Stourbridge until the end of the season.
